Have you ever noticed that when someone is lost in deep thought or wrestling with unpleasant emotions, their gaze drops downward?
They might slump, shoulders rounding forward, as if physically carrying their worries.
In contrast, when someone feels positive, their body opens up, their gaze is forward or slightly lifted and they seem lighter.
